Darnice’s Place helps women set themselves up in new housing.  It helps find apartments and provide basic furniture, clothing, and other necessities

Darnice's Place helps provide for the first month's rent as well as Metrocards for transportation. Darnice's Place also teaches basic financial literacy, such as how to work a bank account.

RESEARCHING - Finding suitable housing

 

Each woman has specific needs for space based on their family situation and in some cases may want to be located near their existing or potential laces of work.   We would need help to set up appointments and looking for living areas for them.

 

INTAKES - Do intakes with clients in jail
